Dyeing Natural Dyes

Good natural colors?
Can anyone suggest some natural dyes (E. beet? Safran?) Who will color cotton and, especially, hold their color when they are washed?
I guess it depends on what you're dead. If you dream of wool or wool. Kool Aid really works well. Think if you've already paid Kool-Aid on something that is difficult to get him out. You need to add vinegar to it to help keep its color. It will work on cotton, but not both because of its acid level. Cotton needs of colors that are more alkaline. You need to experiment a little. The problem with natural dyes are that they do not hold color well unless you add more things for them, but most of they are very caustic.
